New woodcut - “STEADFAST TURTLE”!
Slow & steady determination through obstacle.
A multiblock color print-in-progress!
Color proofing is wrapping up, about to start printing the limited edition!
Sneak peek of how the blocks look printed together ABOVE (in process of adding more photos, stay tuned!)
Will print on Tan BFK like recent prints GLOWING ROSE, STRAWBERRY, RIVER, and DANGLING GRAPES.
Carved some additional jewel shapes into the key block before proofing.

All 4 blocks now carved!
Transferred key woodblock to 3 color blocks.
Each block will hold different color information for the print to come.

This block is called the ‘key’ & holds the linework for the print.

“STEADFAST TURTLE” is a new woodblock print by Valerie Lueth, currently in progress at Tugboat Printshop.
Pre-ordering “STEADFAST TURTLE” allows patrons of T.B.P.S. to reserve an authentic, limited edition woodcut print from the woodcuts that will be produced from the hand-carved block(s).
Tugboat has firm pre-order rules that by placing a pre-order you acknowledge.
Pre-orders place faith in the artist’s color choices, paper choices, and scale.
Pre-orders are not customizable.
T.B.P.S. prints are handmade and take time to make.
I cannot rush shipment of pre-orders or specify an exact date when prints will be completed.
